Science Vs Religion

Science Vs Religion

And today’s blogpost will not be about art as is the usual. Today’s blog will be focusing on a topic of controversy which is Science Vs Religion. Everyone has a set of their own belief systems that they have acquired through the course of time. If you have noticed recently there has been a series of calamities that have befallen us. First was the high number of accidents especially along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, university buses were also involved in accidents, floods and then a coming cyclone.

Religion has always been used to fill the gap of what people cannot understand. One can say that the floods are ‘acts of God’ but if you were to look at it from a scientific perspective it could be as a result of the climate changing drastically and uncontrollably to levels of destruction. The coming of a cyclone could be a myth, actually just a prediction but life is full of uncertainty, anything can happen.

I saw a funny tweet yesterday from a newspaper article writer saying that this could be the ‘seven plagues’ of modern times and that we could be victims of bad omen. And this is probably not the best time to be using bodas, it could be a tad too costly. I would like to end my blog here, I hope you found this interesting. Some food for thought.
